Judy is the director and founder of Wayfarers Australia. She is very good at making creative things happen, and somehow people are swept along. It's difficult to sum up the song, or indeed to sum up Judy. As the main organiser of the tour, and the conductor and composer whose music we performed and taught all over the world, it's fair to say that Judy was the reason for it all. I am deeply indebted to her for this world she created, this Steiner-y, song-filled world that I've become a part of. Who knows where I'd be if this hadn't happened? None of these songs would be here, that's for sure. So this is my homage to her, and to some of the things she does, and stands for.

Judy's piece is the longest of the set. I decided to indulge and give her more chance to shine. I attempted to reference organum using parallel 5ths, signifying her passion for medieval music - there's also a partial round, and a canon, two other techniques she often employs or enjoys. For the rest of the piece I tried to do justice to her composing skills, and her dedication to delivering exciting musical experiences to anyone and everyone.

At the end there's a bit of visual drama, with the choir using body percussion and shouts as a kind of primal group salute. Judy rekindled my love of acting, so I wanted to add a visual element, along with something that would seize the audience's attention in a grand finale.
